Reliable and Accessible Transportation for Retirees

Apple Country Public Transit operates three bus routes running on a 1-hour cycle from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with exceptions for holidays and severe weather. Routes originate from the Transfer Site at the corner of 4th and Grove Street in downtown Hendersonville, adjacent to the 1995 Henderson County Courthouse.

Henderson County partners with WNCSource (formerly WCCA/Western Carolina Community Action) to provide transit and paratransit services, ensuring accessible transportation for all residents, including those with specific mobility needs.
